Pat Anderson, Artist

Pat Anderson's art combines detail and vibrant colors into an interesting new image of a subject. Her imagination, artistic experiences, and extensive island cruising with Capt. Pete, her late husband, have provided additional character and depth to her paintings.

Pat created and published "My Own Cruising Journal," an actual journal of her artwork while cruising together on their yacht, in 1992, and expanded this cover design onto a variety of garments and merchandise.

In 1996, the large retail store named after My Own Cruising Journal opened in the upscale city of Lighthouse Point, FL. They expanded the business by selling several lines of tropical and marine clothing, gifts, and pieces of artwork.

Prints of the painting, and the shirt, are both available for sale at My Own Cruising Journal.

Pat Anderson ART & GIFTS 1819 NE 24th Street, Lighthouse Point	Pat Anderson Art Gallery LOFT in the store: "Latitude 25" Mile Marker 82.7 in Islamorada in the Florida Keys.

In 2003 Pat opened an Art Gallery named "Art of the Islands," which displays and sells originals and prints of local and international artists Tripp Harrison, Phil Capen, Guy Harvey, and Pat Anderson herself.

Content in the gallery changes frequently, and we invite you to stop by and visit!

In 1996 Pat began fabric designs for Kahala Sportswear of Hawaii. The fabric for her many designs is printed in Japan, assembled in Hawaii, and sold worldwide. In recognition of her talent, Pat has her own label "Pat Anderson Collection by Kahala."

Our retail store, My Own Cruising Journal, carried famous national brands of tropical clothing and islandwear, including:

Pat's new store in Lighthouse Point, sells tropical items as home decor and gifts for friends and family.

We feature Pat's popular artwork as placemats, mugs, visors, and t-shirts.

Prints and Giclees of Pat Anderson's artwork are available for sale using your online shopping cart.

The prints are high-fidelity, and can be shipped to you for framing. We also have a custom framing studio in-house in our art gallery and offer one-of-a-kind Florida Keys driftwood framing by Capt. John Wetzstein, master craftsman.
